This really happened. I was late for World History, and I walked in terrified. I had no idea what we were doing. I was too scared to ask anyone-I had no friends in this class. But I heard my name whispered, and I turned and saw a girl I'd seen with my friend earlier. She had long, dark hair, and dark brown eyes. I remember thinking she was beautiful and so nice...
Turns out, that girl was Rani, aka

and after that day, we became thick as thieves, and now were attached at the hip. We literally run through the school in hopes of passing each other in the hallways.
That moment in WHAP changed my life because it's the first memory I have of my best friend.

I like the way you've formatted this and how you've opened it up for interpretation with the phrasing and the way you've jumped around a bit. It's interesting how it unfolds and... yeah, it's almost perfect, in a way.

It does seem like fate. One girl we know asked us if we'd known each other before, and was shocked when she found out we hadn't, because we're so close now.
