Glassy red eyes darting everywhere
Can't stay on one subject
Not for long
Losing track of the conversation
Nonsense trailing off
Made-up words slipping into the breeze
Sweaty, clammy grip on my mind
Won't stop sliding
Slipping away
Perfect sharp silver
In my mind's eye
Swallowed by blackness or an unnamed fear
Unseen foes with bright eyes
Staring at me through the darkness
I am not afraid of the dark
The secrets the darkness holds
Would be enough to drive you mad.
I've seen them all.
"I am not insane." says one.
The other one giggles, lets her confidante in on a secret she'd never believe:
"I am."

I TRIED so hard to keep the stanzas three verses long.
So yeah. It's dark, emo, morbid, probably leaves you questioning my sanity.
